Dr. Shah was raised in Katy and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2018 before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2023.
During her clinical year, she received the ACVIM Certificate of Clinical Excellence, recognizing her developing expertise in internal medicine. Her interest in veterinary medicine developed through caring for a special-needs pet and working closely with local rescue groups, where she was heavily involved in fostering dogs prior to veterinary school.
Caring for a special-needs pet left a lasting impact on Dr. Shah, shaping her approach to veterinary care and reinforcing the importance of the human-animal bond and the shared partnership between owner and veterinarian. Dr. Shah’s clinical interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, and dentistry.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys cooking, reading, quilting, and spending time with her family, including her surprisingly rambunctious senior Chihuahua, Daisy!
